The Designated Conservative finally saw the (still reasonably) new movie Race to Witch Mountain last night.  With no time to offer up a full review for designated conservative parents out there, all I will say is…

“Wow!”

Disney managed the impossible – a “remake” (loosely) based on the original “Escape to Witch Mountain” that actually managed to improve on the original.

This is a great family movie, and a fun roller-coaster ride from the ‘X-Files’-like opening sequence to the very end.
