“Rights” were once something retained by an educated citizenry, and the government was restrained by the Constitution from infringing upon those rights. Now, apparently, “rights” are things that the someone has and someone else wants, and the enraged citizenry demands that the federal government secure those “rights” for them.

…(constitutional) right to privacy, which the Supreme Court said is in there, so I can choose for myself the when, where, and how of my family’s healthcare without the help of the Democrat Congressional leadership. Which part of the Obama Administration should I contact to secure this right?

Congressman-for-Life John Dingell held a town hall meeting last week in Romulus, MI. Despite every effort made to pack the hall with union officials and Democrat Party operatives, things didn’t go the way he wanted…. I wonder if he will run yet again in 2010?
